Allana participated in Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women was in the year 2015. She played well against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana has added radio to her game, and has frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching diploma. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports that include Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also rugby union. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' star rugby player is forced to end her career in the league due to tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She had previously experienced tears to the same ligaments in her teens or 17 years old, and then 20 and a 4th tear meant her playing days were over.
